I saw Klara’s work in Paris in 2012 when visiting  Galerie Perrotin  Her quietly disturbing work is mesmerising, especially when displayed in semi darkness where the high gloss finish of the porcelain or stoneware pieces glints into the side of the eye, drawing you in, face to face.

You can see Klara Kristalova’s work in Sweden from 23 March to 2 June 2013 at Vasteras Art Museum, Vasteras, Sweden.

Also seen at Galerie Perrotin, new photographic and moving image works by Sophie Calle “Pour la dernière et pour la première fois” which is exhibited at Hara Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo from 20 March to 30 May 2013
